Paramount Pictures is een Amerikaans filmbedrijf, opgericht in 1912 als Famous Players Film Company. Het is de zesde oudste nog bestaande filmstudio ter wereld; na Gaumont Film Company (1895), Pathé (1896), Titanus (1904), Nordisk Film (1906) en Universal Studios (1912). Het is de laatste grote filmstudio die nog steeds zijn hoofdkantoor in de Hollywood- wijk van Los Angeles heeft. Behalve filmbedrijf is het ook een televisieproductie- en distributiebedrijf.

Het hoofdkantoor en de studio's van het bedrijf bevinden zich op 5555 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, Californië.

Het is nog een tijd eigendom geweest van Viacom en CBS. Tegenwoordig behoort het tot de Paramount Pictures Motion Picture Group.

Paramount Pictures distribueerde de uitgaven van DreamWorks Animation van 2006 tot 2012.
